Before this lesson I had little to no knowledge on invented religions, I hadn’t really put into thought the amount of the many invented religions that there are, and I hadn’t really thought about some people taking them seriously. I still don’t know how to feel about the Jediism as a religion. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that anyone can have their beliefs and follow whatever they choose; however, it is hard for me to see Jediism as a religion because it came from pop culture and the Star Wars films. I think that I can see it more as a way of lifestyle, but I would need to learn more about it to see it as a religion. I think its interesting how it has helped many people with their lives and rough patches that they have had.
